WELCOME TO STUNNING MEN!

The only raison d'être of this blog is my love of the male physique and male fashion/fitness modelling. I dedicate this blog to the many men who are generous in sharing themselves with us. I hope this blog will help some of them along the way to achieve their goals and get the recognition they deserve.

 Here's Kyle's interview in full

Kyle, welcome to Stunning Men and a big thank you for taking the time to do the interview. You are from South Africa and currently live in Perth, Western Australia...

Yes, I am from Pinetown in KwaZulu-Natal.

First thing first ... how did you get into modelling?

I was approached by CSA earlier on in the year and I just started.

What do you think is the most fulfilling thing about modelling?

I think it’s getting the chance to show off what I’ve worked hard for and getting paid to do so!

How comfortable are you in showing off your physique in a shoot?

I am pretty comfortable showing it off, I’ve constantly got my shirt off anyway! (Kyle smiles)

What’s the saying again? Oh yeah, when you got it, flaunt it! Well, you are looking amazing. How on earth did you get into such shape?

I’ve been going to the gym constantly for the last three years; it’s paid off now that I look back but it was hard to get into at first.

When did your passion for fitness start?

It started at a young age; I used to watch a lot of bodybuilding and I was inspired by the athletes and wanted to be like them one day.  So one day I started working out, I was young so I did a few push ups and sit ups every day and I slowly progressed as I got older.

What keeps you determined and driven to work out?

It is my personal goal to beat the person that I was yesterday.  I am always trying to improve and look better, I think that keeps me determined.

What is your diet like?

Not the best, my metabolism is so fast I don’t really have to worry about a diet yet!

If you had a cheat day, what would be your favourite food?

Probably some KFC, I love KFC chicken!

Can you share your fitness regimen with us?

I like to work out every muscle every day. I don’t do certain muscles on some days like other people, I don’t really feel accomplished if I leave the gym and my whole body doesn’t hurt!

And what’s the best form of cardio for you?

I do CrossFit, that’s close enough!

Now a few quick fun questions if we may? Do you think you are a good date?

Yeah I guess so … you would probably have to ask my girlfriend, but she would probably say no! (another smile)

Your favourite song or piece of music to play while training or running?

I like to listen to a bit of EDM or House!

Do you have any other passions besides fitness?

Not really, I used to have a lot of hobbies but I just don’t have the time anymore for anything else!

What can’t you live without?

Pre workout.  I don’t think I’d be in the shape that I’m in without that stuff.

Could you finish these two sentences for us? You wouldn’t know, but I’m very good at …

… video editing. I spent about five years of my life studying the ins and outs of media production!

Now ... I’m just not very good at …

… studying.

One last question Kyle, what is your big dream?

I want to be able to live a life where I’m not always waiting for the weekend. I want to be able to live every day like it’s a Saturday… it’s a little far-fetched I know … but that’s the dream!

Not so fanciful Kyle … you would have even more time to work out! Thank you for your time and for being such good sport. It has been a real pleasure to interview you! All the best for the future.
